It is the Eagleman 70.3 bike course which is a 56 mile ride that was really fun but the best part…I was faster and stronger then the guys I rode with. So this weekend Saturday May 4th, 2019 was our annual eastern shore ride.

Is the 4DP a better assessment of fitness/strengths/weaknesses over TrainerRoad's FTP based adaptive training? Is the workout and plan quality of one software better than the other? Is one better for triathletes than the other?Īt this point, doing anything on the bike will help but would appreciate advice from people who have used both.My TR Fitness Level has Increased.Yeah! I don't necessarily need the entertainment SYSTM provides (although a positive) and am more concerned about workout and plan quality.

However, I'm doing the 14 day trial for SYSTM and really like the 4DP, strength and yoga workouts included in the plan. I've used TrainerRoad in the past and really liked it for the customized workout plans and training calendar. I am primarily interested in cycling races this spring but also triathlons later in the summer. I've done some structured training before and am looking to get back into it as I'm now recovered from some health issues. I'm 25 and looking to get into racing this upcoming spring with my university (grad student) and am looking to choose a structured training software for the next few months.
